You can play padel every week and never see a top-level match in person. This winter, some of the best UK events are at clubs you can reach by train. This page lists the UK events on the LTA's performance calendar from now to Christmas, month by month.
Last checked: 18 October 2026, against the LTA's September 2026 calendar update. The LTA says the calendar can change at any time. An event only counts as confirmed once it is listed on the LTA competitions portal or the FIP website, so check there before you travel.
The three to put in the diary
1. HOP Pro Finals, Padium Canary Wharf, 19 to 22 November. A Grade 1 event on the LTA Padel British Tour, the top domestic tier. The LTA describes these as events run over "full weekends, for prize money", and the best pairs in GB get in on their combined FIP and LTA rankings. Padium is at 10 Bank Street, E14.
2. LTA Padel National League finals, Padel Derby, 28 to 29 November and 5 to 6 December. The first weekend is the Division 1 National Finals. The second is the Division 2 Finals, and the winners are due to be promoted to Division 1 for 2027. This is club padel at its sharpest. Teams have five players, men's and women's competitions are separate, and each fixture is two matches between different pairs. Matches are best of three sets, with a championship tie-break to 10 points in the deciding set. If your club entered a team back in June, this is where the good ones end up.
3. Grade 1, Rocket Padel Ilford, 11 to 13 December. The last British Tour event on the 2026 calendar. Rocket Padel Ilford has 12 indoor courts, so you're not relying on the weather.

How to watch one in person
My first ever sale happened in a club garden while we sat watching a game. So I'm biased. Watching good padel up close is half the fun, and you pick up more from one session courtside than from a month of clips.
A few practical points:
- Check spectator access first. The calendar doesn't say whether these events are open to watch or need a ticket. For the National Championships in Bristol this October, the LTA made spectator entry free, with tickets booked through Eventbrite. That's a good sign, not a promise. Look up the event on the LTA competitions portal or ask the venue a few days before.
- Go late in the event if you can only go once. The rounds get stronger as the draw narrows.
- Follow the draw before you go. For the National Championships, the LTA put the draws and results online. Look for the same on the portal for your event, so you know which pairs to watch.

Want to enter instead? Start here, not at Grade 1
Grade 1 and Grade 2 events are for the top of the rankings. Entry and seeding go on each pair's combined FIP ranking first, then their combined LTA Padel ranking. Here's the way in for everyone else.
- Join LTA Advantage. To enter a padel competition, you need an LTA membership number. The LTA says signing up is free and takes a couple of minutes.
- Enter a Grade 5 Local Tour event. This is the starter level. Places go first come, first served, and an event can run on a single court. Draws have 8 to 16 pairs in a compass format, so every pair plays at least three matches.
- Move up to Grade 4 County Tour. These events take you to different venues and opponents. Acceptance is based on your LTA Padel ranking.
- Understand the ranking. You need to be an Advantage member and play sanctioned Grade 1 to Grade 5 events. Your ranking counts your best six results from the last 52 weeks, and it updates weekly.
Prefer a team? Talk to your club about the National League. Any LTA registered venue can enter teams, and every player needs Advantage membership. In 2026, nominations ran from 1 to 29 June. The 2027 dates aren't out yet, so ask your club now rather than in May.

What to wear when you're watching in November
You'll be sitting or standing still for hours, in late November or December, and getting there and back in the dark. When you play, you warm up in ten minutes. When you watch, you don't warm up at all.

FAQs
Are there any professional padel tournaments in the UK this winter? Yes. The LTA calendar has two Grade 1 British Tour events, with prize money: the HOP Pro Finals at Padium Canary Wharf (19 to 22 November) and a Grade 1 at Rocket Padel Ilford (11 to 13 December). There's also an FIP Bronze event at City Padel, Taunton, from 19 to 25 October.
Can I go and watch the LTA Padel National League finals? The LTA calendar puts the National League in Derby, at Padel Derby. The Division 1 finals are on 28 to 29 November and the Division 2 finals on 5 to 6 December. The LTA hasn't said anything about spectators that we could find, so check with the venue before you travel.
