Mk1 Hoodie Colours: All Eight Shades, Side by Side

The Mk1 Box Hoodie comes in eight colours. Most are easy to tell apart. Black and Navy Blue can be close, and the three light shades are easy to confuse on a phone. This page puts every shade next to the others, says what each one really looks like, and shows you how to pick between the light ones without guessing.

Quick facts first. Every colour is the same hoodie: 350 g/m2, 42% cotton, 53% polyester and 5% other fibres, fleeced inside, oversized and boxy with a drop shoulder. £75, sizes S to 2XL. Colour changes nothing about the fit.

All eight, side by side

These are the flat shots from the product page, all on the same white background. It's the fairest way to compare them, because the light is the same in every picture.

What each colour really is

The colour names on the site use the American spelling, Gray. Here's what's behind each one. The codes are sampled from the body of each flat shot, so you can hold them up against your own screen. Treat them as a guide, not a dye spec.

Colour On-screen value Print colour What it looks like
Black #141414 Cream True black. No blue or brown in it.
Navy Blue #14192C Cream Very dark navy. Only the blue sets it apart from Black.
Gray #64676C Cream A mid grey, slightly cool. Darker than a classic marl.
Brown #66412C Cream A warm chocolate brown with a red edge.
Eden Green #18443A Cream Deep forest green that leans a touch blue, not olive.
Flower Gray #D0D0D2 Green Light heather grey with a visible fleck.
Oat Gray #E2E0DA Green Warm off-white marl. Paler than Flower Gray.
White #F6F6F6 Green Clean, flat white. No fleck.

The Padelism wordmark on the chest swaps colour with the hoodie. Cream on the five darks, green on the three lights. That wordmark was the first logo Padelism's founder ever designed, and it's the one thing that stays the same across all eight.

The two darks people mix up

Black and Navy Blue are close. In the numbers above, Navy Blue is just Black with blue added. In daylight you'll see it's navy. Indoors, at night, or in a dark court bag, it can pass for black.

So if you want a hoodie that is clearly blue, know that Navy Blue is the deep version. If you want something that never looks like a mistake next to black joggers, it's either one.

Gray is the other one to check. It's darker than people expect from the name. Think of it as a mid grey, not the pale marl you get on a school PE top.

The light three: White, Oat Gray and Flower Gray

This is where most colour mistakes happen. On a phone, all three can look like "a light one". Here's how they really differ.

Brightness. White is the brightest. Oat Gray sits a step below it. Flower Gray is a clear step below that. If you lined them up on a shelf, you'd see three shades, light to lighter.

Texture. White is plain. Oat Gray and Flower Gray are both marls, made of tiny flecks of lighter and darker yarn. Flower Gray shows the fleck more.

Temperature. Oat Gray is the warm one, with a faint cream tint. Flower Gray is neutral to very slightly cool. White is neutral.

The name. Flower Gray isn't pink, lilac or floral. It's a heather grey.

One more trap. The model photos on the product page are shot against a blue studio backdrop. That light pulls every shade darker and cooler, and it mostly wipes out Oat Gray's warmth. In those photos, Oat Gray and Flower Gray look almost the same. Use the flat shots on white for colour, and the model shots for shape and fit.

A quick way to choose:

  • Want it to look crisp and bright? White.
  • Want light, but softer, and a bit more forgiving than white? Oat Gray.
  • Want light grey that won't read as white at all? Flower Gray.

White will show marks first, as any white does. Wash it at 30°C on a gentle cycle, as the care notes on the product page say, and keep the iron off the print.

If you're buying two

A dark and a light cover most weeks. Pairs that sit well together on a rail:

  • Black and Oat Gray
  • Navy Blue and White
  • Eden Green and Flower Gray
  • Brown and Oat Gray

The same eight colour names also come on the Sunday Padel Club Hoodie, a Padelism original since 2025. So you can have one of each in the same colour, or swap the colour between them. Everything in the range is in the Mk1 collection and the hoodies collection.

Size, delivery and gifting

Colour doesn't change the size. Every colour uses the same chart. The product page says the hoodie runs big: size down for a regular fit, or take your usual size for the full boxy look. Full numbers are on the size guide, and Padelism sizing explained covers every garment. Size exchanges are accepted if you get it wrong.

Each hoodie is made to order, so allow 7 to 10 working days in the UK. At £75, one hoodie gets free UK delivery on its own. Outside the UK, allow 7 to 14 working days.

Buying a Mk1 for someone else? Look at the colours they already wear, not the ones you like. The gift size guide helps you get the size right without asking. For Christmas, the last UK order date is 10 December 2026. Outside the UK, order as early as you can. Not sure between a hoodie and a crew? Read hoodie vs sweatshirt.

Mk1 colour questions

Is Flower Gray a pink or purple shade? No. Despite the name, it's a neutral heather grey with a visible fleck. It's the darkest of the three light colours.

Will the hoodie match the colour on my screen exactly? Close, but not always exactly. Every screen shows colour a little differently, and the product description notes that small batch variations are normal. The flat shots on white are the best guide you'll get online.

Does the Sunday Padel Club Hoodie come in the same colours? Yes, the same eight names: Black, Gray, Brown, Navy Blue, Eden Green, Flower Gray, White and Oat Gray. The Bagel Boyz Box Hoodie shares four of them and adds Klein Blue.

What if the colour isn't what I expected? You have 30 days to send it back, unworn and unwashed, with the tags still attached. Return postage is yours to cover. Then order the colour you want. The returns page has the steps.
