Some nights the padel is the reason. Some nights it's the excuse. Either way, it's better when the drink is in the same building and you're not walking to a pub in damp kit.
This page is only about the social side: which clubs have a proper bar, beer garden, roof terrace or balcony, what they list for food, and how late they say they're open. For courts, booking apps and coaching, our London padel clubs guide covers the lot.
Everything below was checked on each club's own site or booking page on 19 October 2026. None of these clubs are linked to Padelism.
One thing before you plan the evening
None of these clubs publishes separate bar hours. What they publish is the club's opening hours. So treat closing time as the latest the bar could run, not a promise of last orders. If the drink matters more than the game, book a slot that ends well before closing, or message the club.

Stratford Padel Club: the beer garden
Stratford is the one with a beer garden. The club lists a bar with hot food alongside it, and its own story talks about a drink and a few tapas after games. Nine indoor courts mean a group can book two or three at once and all end up outside together.
Of the clubs here that publish hours, it has the latest finish from Monday to Saturday: 11.30pm. Sunday closes at 10pm.
For a group, Stratford sells private event packages. The top three tiers include a drinks package, and the top two add catering. They're built for up to 50 people, with whole venue hire above that. If you're more than 12 people on an evening or weekend, the club says book at least two months ahead.
Best for: a summer evening with a big group, and anyone who wants food with the pint.
Padel Social Club Earl's Court: the roof terrace
The social side is in the name here. Playtomic describes a two-storey bar and lounge, and the club's own page adds a restaurant and an outdoor roof terrace "to toast your game". Open 7am to 11pm every day.
If someone in the group would rather not drink, there's a Recovery Room with a sauna and cold plunges. An intro session is £20. The club also runs monthly Padel Play Dates, listed on its What's On page.
Four of the six courts are outdoors, and there's no parking on site. West Brompton is the nearest tube, which makes it easy to stay for another.
Best for: west London after work, and a terrace drink when the weather plays along.
Padel Box Bermondsey: watching from the balcony
Padel Box calls its upstairs the Social Box: a coffee shop, a bar, work booths and a mezzanine balcony that looks down on all five courts. When it opened in early 2025, Southwark News described the bar as stocking local beers and craft cocktails.
In summer the garden comes into play. In August the club ran a three-hour tournament with a cocktail from the garden bar included in the £40 entry. Open 7am to 11pm every day.
One practical point. Parking is free, which is great until you work out who's driving. South Bermondsey station is about a 12-minute walk.
Best for: a craft cocktail or a local beer with the courts below you.
Rocket Padel Battersea: the river view
Rocket's Battersea club sits inside an 11-metre glass building at Battersea Power Station, with views of the Thames. Rocket lists a lounge, a bar and a bistro. It doesn't publish hours, so check the booking app.
Rocket says it hosts corporate events on some weekday evenings, and peak evening slots depend on availability. Book early if you want a 7pm game and a drink after. Black and Pink members get 20% and 15% off food and drink.
Rocket's other London clubs have bars too. Beckton lists a restaurant and bar with free parking. Ilford lists a bistro and bar with spectator areas.
Best for: a smaller group and a polished night out in Nine Elms.

What to wear to the bar after
Most club bars are relaxed, but a soaked tech top at a table for two hours isn't nice for anyone. Pack a dry tee and a warm layer, and check whether your club has showers before you assume. Our padel dress code guide covers what clubs actually ask for on court.
The obvious tee for this is Padel & Pints. It's 305 g/m2, 100% cotton, £48, and cut oversized. Size down for a regular fit, or take your usual size for the boxy look. The size guide has the numbers. If the whole four wants one, any two £48 heavyweight tees are £90 together, applied at checkout. We wrote up the story behind the Padel & Pints design separately.
For the outdoor courts at Earl's Court in winter, the fleeced Mk1 Box Hoodie at £75 is the one to pull on as you walk up to the terrace. It also gets you free UK delivery, which applies to any order of £75 and over.
Booking courts and a bar for the office? We print custom tees and hoodies for corporate clients and teams. Email hello@padelism.co.uk.
