The first pro padel tour event in the UK came and went in August 2026. It sold out. Now everyone wants to know about next year.
Here is the honest state of play. What's confirmed, what's only been said, and what nobody knows yet. Plus how tickets worked last time, how to get to Olympia, and what to wear for a long day in the stands.

Confirmed, said, and unknown
Confirmed (it happened):
- The London Premier Padel P1 ran 4-9 August 2026 at Olympia in Kensington, as part of the 2026 Qatar Airways Premier Padel Tour. Qualifying was on 2 and 3 August.
- It was the first Premier Padel tournament played in the UK.
- The venue sold out. On the morning of the final, ESPN reported the Press Association's understanding that over 20,000 spectators would have visited by the end of the week.
- Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia won the men's final against Alejandro Galán and Fede Chingotto, 6-3, 5-7, 7-5. Claudia Fernández and Martina Calvo won the women's final against Gemma Triay and Delfina Brea, 7-5, 6-3 (Red Bull report).
Said (reported, but not yet a fixture):
- Organiser Sela has signed up to run London P1 for another 10 years, as reported by ESPN.
- Premier Padel co-CEO David Serrahima said they were looking ahead to "a bigger and better event with our local promoter next year".
- The LTA's ticket page says information on tickets for the 2027 London Premier Padel P1 "will be available early next year".
Unknown (as of the date above):
- The 2027 dates.
- The 2027 venue. Olympia is the obvious guess. It is still a guess.
- Ticket prices.
- Whether "bigger" means more seats, more days, or both.
If you read a page that gives you a firm 2027 date right now, ask where it came from.
How tickets worked in 2026 (your best clue for 2027)
Nobody has published the 2027 process. But the 2026 sale had a clear shape, and organisers tend to reuse what worked.
Olympia's announcement of the event went out on 8 April 2026. The sale then ran like this:
- 22 April: priority pre-sale, for people who registered at p1london.com.
- 23 April: pre-sale for LTA Advantage members. The LTA says Fan+, Play+ and Compete members got priority access.
- 24 April: general sale on Ticketmaster, from 9am. Ticketmaster says the pre-sales also opened at 9am.
So in 2026 the gap from announcement to general sale was about two weeks. The tournament was less than four months after that.
What that means in practice:
- Register early. If there's a pre-sale sign-up again, get on it the day it opens.
- Look at LTA Advantage. The LTA points people to Advantage for pre-sale access to future events. Check which tier gets priority before you sign up.
- Buy from the primary seller first. In 2026 that was Ticketmaster. If you end up looking anywhere else, know the face value first so you can compare.
- Don't plan on Christmas tickets. If the LTA's "early next year" holds, there will be nothing to buy in December. If you want to give someone the trip, a card that says "we're going" and a calendar reminder does the job until the sale opens.
Getting to Olympia
This assumes Olympia again, which is not confirmed. If the venue changes, ignore this section.
Olympia's own travel page is the one to trust. Here's the short version:
- Kensington (Olympia) station is right next to the venue. London Overground (Mildmay line, Stratford to Clapham Junction) and Southern (to Watford Junction) stop there.
- District line: at weekends, trains run between Earl's Court and Kensington (Olympia). On weekdays, change at West Brompton for a two-minute Overground hop. West Kensington is also about a 12-minute walk.
- Central line: change at Shepherd's Bush for a two-minute Overground ride.
- Piccadilly line: Barons Court is a nine-minute walk, Hammersmith a 15-minute walk. Olympia warned of a Barons Court platform closure in 2026, so check TfL before you go.
- Buses: 9, 23, 27, 28, 49 and 391 by day. N9, N23, N27 and N28 at night.
- Driving: don't, unless you have to. Venue parking is for Blue Badge holders at certain halls, booked ahead. Street parking around there is strict, and Olympia sits inside ULEZ.
Coming from Essex like me? The Overground runs from Stratford straight to Kensington (Olympia), according to Olympia's page, so you can skip the Tube changes entirely.
What to wear to watch padel indoors
This is the bit I know best, because it's what we make. But I'll be straight. I couldn't find a dress code, a bag policy or any guidance on how warm the halls are. So this is about being comfortable for a whole day, not about rules.
Think in hours, not matches. A day ticket is a long sit. You're on public transport, then queuing, then in a seat, then walking around between sessions, then home late. Dress for all of that.
Layer up, then layer down. Big indoor spaces can be warm when they're full and cooler when they're not. You won't know which until you're in. A heavyweight tee with a hoodie over it covers both. The boxy, drop-shoulder cut of our Mk1 Box Hoodie means it goes on and off over a tee easily, and the fleeced 350 g/m2 fabric covers the cooler halls.
Bring one less bag. Until there's a published bag policy for 2027, travel light. A tote or a small bag you can keep on your lap is easier than a big rucksack in a packed row. Our large organic tote is one option, and the rest is in accessories.
Wear the shoes you'd walk all day in. Stations, queues, concourses. Comfort beats looks here.
Say you play. Half the fun is spotting other padel people in the crowd. A padel graphic tee does that for you. Our heavyweight tees are 100% cotton, 305 g/m2. Going as a pair? Most designs sit in the 2 for £90 range, so that's one each for the day, with the price dropping at checkout. Padel Coach and Swing Sign are both in it.
Cap or beanie. Depends on the month, which we don't know yet. Both live in headwear.
If you'd rather a layer that isn't a hoodie, the women's Track Jacket is one option and our sweatshirts are another.
